What changed
Source summary
Anthropic's Claude Code Review feature, which automatically reviews pull requests to catch bugs before a human reviewer looks at them, is now generally available (out of research preview), with faster reviews, improved bug detection, and a per-repository depth setting (Quick, Standard, or Deep). It is available to Claude Team and Enterprise organisations; admins enable it in Claude Code settings, install the GitHub App, and choose which repositories to review, after which reviews run automatically on new pull requests.
Why it matters to your work
Practical interpretation
This is a developer/engineering-team feature: it adds an automated first-pass code reviewer to GitHub pull requests for Claude Team and Enterprise organisations, catching bugs before a human looks at the code.
When this could help
Relevant when your org already uses Claude Code and GitHub pull requests and wants automated review coverage before a human looks at the diff.
Code Review is now generally available (out of research preview), with faster reviews, improved bug detection, and a per-repository depth setting (Quick, Standard, or Deep — Standard is the default), so admins can give routine codebases a quick pass and the most critical ones a deep review. Most reviews are now about 3x faster than during the preview (roughly 20 minutes down to 6-10 minutes).
What to check
- Requires a Claude Team or Enterprise plan and admin setup (GitHub App installation, repository selection); the announcement names only Team and Enterprise, and doesn't separately address individual or Pro accounts. Source ↗
- The announcement points readers to separate docs for more detail; GitHub-only scope, step-by-step admin setup, pricing beyond the Enterprise credit offer, and any regional limits are not covered here because those docs were not available to verify. Source ↗
